Iroquois Business Group

The village of Iroquois is home to a strong business community focused on business promotion across the Iroquois area. Located on County Rd. 2, and just minutes from Highway 401, this lovely small town has a variety of stores and restaurants that are sure to deliver an enjoyable shopping experience-one that is characterized by personal and friendly service and quite unlike the overwhelming pace of busy city shopping malls.

First settled by Loyalists in 1786 along the banks of the beautiful St. Lawrence River, the village of Iroquois was incorporated in 1857. During the 1950s life in Iroquois was changed forever with the building of the St. Lawrence Seaway, as nearly the entire community was forced to relocate. Now situated one mile north of its original location, historic sites like the Galop Canal and the Carman House Museum mark what used to be; the stunning 18-hole links style golf course, the modern Iroquois Locks, and the nearby attractions of Upper Canada Village and Upper Canada Playhouse mark life today. We're Expecting You!
