As is true in each of the Seaway affected communities, the river, and its impact on area history, is at the heart of our quaint Iroquois village and serves as a gorgeous backdrop for special events and festivals ongoing throughout the year. Among the foremost summer sights and activities are the Iroquois Point, the Galop Canal Marina, the Iroquois Golf Club, and the Iroquois Lock, all situated along the mighty St. Lawrence River, offering views of the Iroquois Dam. Other outdoor recreation activities include boating, fishing, swimming, tennis, lawn bowling, and in the winter, hockey, figure skating, curling, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
